About White Rabbit Gallery

Our Background

All our work comes from White Rabbit Gallery founder and creative mastermind, renowned alchemy wizard, and glassblowing artist John King.

Born in 1982 in the UK, John moved to Washington State in 1990 at the age of 8. At 15 years, he was taught the art of glassblowing by the early founders of the Pacific Northwest flamework movement. John returned to the UK in 2000 and began to explore the magic art of electroforming. After perfecting his glassblowing and electroforming skills, John founded the White Rabbit Gallery in 2008 and started to share his art with the world.

The White Rabbit name is a symbolic reference to John's passion for nature and signifies the start of a transformation or new beginning. Much like John's electroforming creations which are transformed from organic materials into precious pieces of bespoke jewellery. The White Rabbit also symbolises friendship, fun, mystery & magic. All these values are the core of our beliefs and the inspiration for our work.

In 2010 John opened the White Rabbit Gallery store in Brighton. Presenting a wide variety of electroforming and glasswork art by his own hand as well as that of talented friends and colleagues. The shop became a local phenomenon and was frequented by a large and diverse audience worldwide. Visitors loved the unique, original and sometimes eccentric collection of jewellery and fine art.

In 2016 John moved to the Ashdown forest area of Danehill with his lovely Johanna. A new beginning presented itself again in 2019 when their first son Casper was born, followed by his little brother Bodhi in 2021. Mostly UK oriented for the first 14 years a new adventure now commences with the launch of the White Rabbit Gallery brand in Europe.

On behalf of John and his family we thank you for your interest and support. We look forward to taking you on an adventurous, nature inspired journey full of beauty, fun and mystery.

We love and seek to preserve nature, no animals were harmed during the creation of our jewellery and fine art. All natural materials and precious metals we use are ethically sourced. Support our cause, help save the bee.

Love & Light.
